ONLINE Course Review Process

UF’s review process was designed to support instructors in enhancing the quality of their online courses. Participating will give you constructive feedback on essential components of course design and more instructional methodologies.

Take These Steps

Step 1: Submit a course review intake form to request a spot in a review cohort. Consult the submission dates and deadlines

Step 2: You will be notified of your acceptance to your requested cohort in accordance with the dates and deadlines schedule.

Step 3: Attend the semester cohort information session for direction on how to complete your course submission.

Step 4: Your course will be reviewed within 6-8 weeks. You will then have 6-8 weeks to amend your submission if needed, based on feedback received.

Step 5: You will be notified by email when your course has received an official designation and badge.

Prepare for Your Review

The following is a checklist to help you prepare for your course review:

  • At least 80% of the course is taught online (synchronously or asynchronously).
  • Your new course has been taught online at least once.
  • You completed the Preparation for Online Course Review Training
  • You obtained your course’s Ally Accessibility score.
  • You have a course map ready to be shared. A course map is an outline breakdown of each module showing how learning objectives align with materials and activities.
