UF Quality Rubric


The UF Quality Online Course Rubric provides research-driven guidance for course design. These standards serve as a comprehensive framework for the development, self-review, and peer review of online courses. They are routinely updated to keep pace with the evolving landscape of online education. The rubric is applicable for course evaluation across all 16 of UF’s colleges, whether courses are taught synchronously or asynchronously.

Standards

UF Quality Online Course Rubric is divided into 11 “General Standards,” eight from the Quality Matters rubric and three from the UF Standards and Markers of Excellence. These General Standards address different aspects of the design or delivery of online courses.
